Ocean of Love was co-founded by Linda Gillick and the late George Goldt and it began by assisting 12 families in 1988 and, to date, has helped over 600 families. Unfortunately, we have grown bigger than we ever expected. We would like nothing more than to be able to say childhood cancer no longer exists. As long as children in Ocean County are being diagnosed with cancer, Ocean of Love will be here to help.
Ocean of Love provides a safe space for the children and their families. We provide emotional and financial support to allow the children to experience a more "normal" childhood. We provide travel expenses for treatments, assistance with household bills & food, funeral expenses, family parties, support groups and much more.
Ocean of Love receives numerous inquiries regarding what appears to be higher than normal rates of cancer. Anyone who has a concern should contact the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services by visiting this link. Please make sure you have all documented information available to present to them. Thank you.
